Lillian Wallace, age 93, of Philadelphia, PA, passed away on August 26, 2024. Born on April 14, 1931, she was the beloved daughter of the late Clara Wallace.
Later in life, Lillian moved to the 3100 Block of North 28th Street with her relatives and the neighborhood quickly became family to her. She embodied the quintessential sweetheart persona—radiating warmth and possessing an infectious happy-go-lucky demeanor that invited others into her embrace. Lillian found beauty in the simple moments and colored her world with the delightful hues of her favorite shade: pink. This vivacious color reflected the joy that she spread in every interaction, lighting up the lives of friends and family alike.
Lillian was not merely a spectator in life; she fully engaged with her passions and interests, notably her love for basketball (she enjoyed looking at the men's legs while they were playing). Her dedication to the game transcended mere fandom—she embraced it with a spirited enthusiasm, cheering for her favorite teams and sharing in the communal joy of a well-played match.
Lillian is survived by her cousin, Kim Sharpe, and her niece, Gloria Morgan.
