Linda Husband

September 3, 1942 — November 10, 2016

Linda Jean Husband (née Haring) died peacefully after a short illness in Bryn Mawr Hospital on November 10, 2016 at the age of 74.

Linda is survived by her children, Seth Pancoast III and Claudia Kroberger (nee Pancoast) both of Broomall; Brother Curt Haring of Devon PA, Grandchildren, Ashley, Brittany and Harrison Kroberger and Abigail and Seth Pancoast IV, and her favorite ex-husband and father of her children, Seth Pancoast Jr. She was preceded in death by her parents Claude and Annabelle (Mither) Haring of Havertown, PA, Brother Claude (Jack) Haring of St Michaels, MD, Sister Bunny Vanaman (nee Haring) and Beloved Husband David.

Linda was born on September 3,1942 in Scranton, PA to Claude and Annabelle Haring. She graduated from Haverford High School in 1960. Linda loved entertaining people, whether she was singing, dancing or acting. She had always thought it would be fun to be a lounge singer, and finally got the chance later in life when she moved to Maris Grove and met her future accompanist, Harry. They performed together many evenings while she lived there. After moving back to Broomall to be closer to her children, she remained involved with the chorus at Maris Grove as an assistant director, and performed there with her granddaughter, Abigail many times.

Linda spent countless hours performing and directing throughout her life with the Playmakers in Upper Darby, the Marple Newtown Players, and the Narberth Theatre. Linda also performed with the Sweet Adelines, the 49er's Chorus and the West Chester Area Community Chorus. While performing in Kiss Me Kate with the Playmakers she met the love of her life, David Husband, whom she married in 1983. Sadly, David passed 11 months later.

She was a free spirit who loved life and had just recently gotten her first tattoo. Linda was always there to help out friends and family in any way she could. Her kind and caring nature will make her that much harder to be without. She was a wonderful mother, and an amazingly devoted Nanny who loved us all "a bushel and a peck and a hug around the neck."
