She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Floyd, her children, Graham (Susie), Lizzie Heavenrich (Avery), and Jenny Brown (Rick), her grandchildren, Graham and Ava Heavenrich, and Jack and Sarah Brown, and her sisters, Gaye Snyder (Kurt) and Bonnie Clites (Dallas).
She was devoted to her family, thankful for her friends, and faithful to God.
Linda’s sparkling personality, warmth, beautiful blue eyes and quick wit blessed her with an ability to make friends with everyone she encountered. And she did… she was loved by friends across many generations.
While her kids were still young, she attended and graduated from Combs College of Music in 1980, and worked, as a music therapist, with children with special needs.
Linda was a talented singer. In her youth, she and her sisters, performed as the Gay - Bon - Lin Trio, and The Edmond Sisters. They had their own radio program and even opened for Elvis Presley.
She was a gifted photographer for 40 years and took pictures of many local nursery school children, and families.
She and her husband lived in France, in England and in Canada, and were fortunate to have traveled extensively together.
She served on the Warwick Township Historical Commission and Historical Architectural Review Board.
Until her recent brief illness, she was an avid reader, walker and active member of her Dunwoody Village community.
She is so missed.
There will be a celebration of Linda’s life at the Bryn Mawr Presbyterian Church Chapel, 625 Montgomery Avenue, Bryn Mawr, PA on Monday, October 17, 2022 at 11:00 AM, with a reception in Congregation Hall immediately following.
In lieu of flowers, Linda would appreciate you donating in her name to the charity of your choice.
