Lois Burdick

Lois R. Burdick (nee Richardson), age 84, of Lansdowne, PA, formerly of Narberth, PA, and West Hampton Beach, NY, passed away on August 11, 2013 at her residence. Born in Brooklyn, NY, she was the daughter of the late Roy M. D. Richardson and Claire Richardson (nee Gano). Lois was a graduate of Packer Collegiate Institute and New York University where she received her Bachelor of Science degree. She was employed as a nursery school administrator as well as a library assistant with the Narberth Community Library retiring in 1994. She received great pleasure doing "Story Time" for the 2-4 year olds. She was a member of the Narberth Civic Association and Narberth Community Theater.



Lois is survived by her husband William, her children Jeffrey H. Burdick of Mt. Pleasant, SC, D. Page Cloud of Sewell, NJ and Heather B. Klein of Lansdowne, PA, her grandchildren Justin, Jamison and Jennifer Cloud, James Burdick, Lauren Abbott and William Burdick, 3 great-grandchildren and her sister Jill Britton of Asheville, NC. She was predeceased by her brother James D. D. Richardson.



Relatives and friends are invited to visit the family Thursday, August 15, 2013 9:30-11:00 AM followed by her Funeral Service at 11:00 AM. Interment St. Paul's Lutheran Church Cemetery in Ardmore.



In lieu of flowers, contributions in Lois's memory to the National Parkinson Foundation, 1501 N.W. 9th Avenue, Bob Hope Road, Miami, FL 33136 would be appreciated.
