Lois Tague

February 4, 1939 — March 21, 2014

Lois Ann Tague (nee Murdock) of Sea Isle City, NJ, age 75, on March 21, 2014. A long time resident of Drexel Hill PA. Lois graduated from West Catholic Girls High School in 1956 and attended St. Joseph University.



Wife of James E. Tague and devoted mother to Patricia Sacchetti, James (Jennie), Steven, and the late Kathleen Tague DiGirolamo. Also survived by eight Grandchildren Michael, Stephanie, Daniel, Rory, James, Andrew, Steven and Dylan, her five Great Grandchildren Hailey Rose, Olivia, Zachary, Jayden and Mia Bella, her brothers Kenny (Eileen) Murdock and Stephen (Dianne) Murdock and her sister Theresa Forgione. Fondly called "Loie" by all that knew her, she made her home their home. Generous, kind and caring, she will always be remembered for the sacrifices she made for others. She loved to cook big dinners for all her children and friends and help them with any problems they might have. She always said that caring and nurturing was her job and she did it with great enthusiasm.



An avid reader, who loved the seashore, she was often in the library with her Grandchildren encouraging them to read. She loved to do crossword puzzles, shop for bargains and spend time on the beach. Lois worked as a legal secretary for Schnader, Harrison, Segal and Lewis in Philadelphia for over 40 years. She worked for many of the top lawyers in the firm including founders William A. Schnader and Bernard G. Segal. Lois was active in volunteer work with the Catholic Daughters of America, Volunteers in Medicine Cape May County, and the Ladies Auxiliary VFW Post 1063 in Sea Isle City, NJ.



Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing Wednesday, 7:00-9:00 PM The Donohue Funeral Home and Thursday 9:00-10:00 AM The Donohue Funeral Home, 8401 West Chester Pike (cor. Lynn Blvd.), Upper Darby, PA (610) 449-0300 followed by her Funeral Mass 10:30 AM St. Andrew the Apostle Church, 3500 School Lane, Drexel Hill, PA. Interment SS Peter & Paul Cemetery.



In lieu of flowers, the family prefers contributions to St. Andrew the Apostle School, 529 Mason Avenue, Drexel Hill, PA 19026.
