Lora Carol Flinn

Lora Carol Flinn, age 58, passed away on July 15, 2024 after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. 

Born in 1965, Lora brought immense joy to those around her.

Lora's journey touched so many lives. Leaving behind cherished memories and a legacy of strength and resilience. She fought bravely these last 4 months only a few years after emerging victorious against her first battle with this devastating pancreatic cancer. Everyone who knew her knows her main motivation was to one day see and hold her grandson. Lora’s unwavering spirit in the face of adversity was an inspiration to all who knew her.

Lora is survived by her mother Carol Fish who took on the most difficult task of seeing Lora through both her initial battle with pancreatic cancer and then the final stages of her life; Lora’s son, Chase Flinn and his wife Morley Flinn; Lora’s motivation to fight cancer so hard…her grandson, Charles Hanley Flinn VI (Kai); her brother William Adams; and her many extended families she nannied for, who will forever hold dear Lora’s memory. 

She literally made a career caring for children as a nanny, we now see the extent of her impact on all the families she helped. To those families, know she cared for your little ones like they were her own and they made as much of a positive impact on her as it did them. 

Lora will be remembered for her kindness, compassion, and the positive impact she had on everyone fortunate enough to have known her.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a Pancreatic Cancer Research in memory of Lora Carol Flinn.

May Lora rest in eternal peace, free from pain, and may Lora’s memory continue to bring comfort to those who mourn her passing.
