Louis Barnaba

May 9, 1919 — January 12, 2015

Louis Barnaba, age 95, of Rosemont, PA, formerly of Upper Darby, PA, passed away on January 12, 2015. Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Nazareno and Giovanna Barnaba (nee Terci). Louis proudly served in the United States Army during World War II. He was a member of the Operating Engineers Local 542 in Philadelphia for over 40 years.



Louis was predeceased by his wife, Antoinette C. Barnaba (nee Tagliaferri), his daughter Lois T. Cook, his grandson James Cook, III and his 6 siblings.

He is survived by his daughter Joanne McMullin (Daniel), his son-in-law James Cook, his grandchildren Danielle Geslao (John), Ryan Cook, Sean McMullin, Brandon Cook, Michael Cook (Taylor), his great-grandchildren John Jr. and Celina and many loving nieces and nephews.



Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing Saturday, January 17, 2015 9:30-10:20 AM St. Laurence Church, 8245 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby, PA followed by his Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM. Interment SS Peter and Paul Cemetery.



In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory to the American Kidney Fund, 6100 Executive Blvd., Suite 1010, Rockville, MD 20852 would be appreciated.
