Louis A. DeSantis

Louis A. “Louie” “Mr. D.” DeSantis, age 79, of Upper Darby, PA, passed away on March 14, 2023.

He was the beloved son of the late Earl Holman and Louise (nee Cappelli) DeSantis.

Lou is survived by his wife, JoAnne DeSantis (nee Giallombardo) and was the Father of: Rocky DeSantis, Vincent (Kim) DeSantis, Diane (Steve) Lane, MaryAnne (Bill) Panella, Dante (Kristen) DeSantis, Domenic (Tina) DeSantis, and the late Louise (David) Capriotti. Louis was also the adoring grandfather to: Gina, David Jr., Colleen, DeAnna, Rachel, Joey (Christina), Christian, Nicholas, Gianna, Domenic, Ava, Joanna, Lena, Amelia, and Carter; as well as his Great-Grandchildren, Kaylee and Kaiden; predeceased by his brother, Paul (Cassie) DeSantis; also survived by many nieces and nephews

Lou worked as a security guard and after retiring he enjoyed his time playing guitar, singing oldies, dancing, painting alongside Bob Ross, playing cards and games on the computer, and his favorite thing in the world, watching his grandchildren. He was well known as Snafu Lou and the king of bad and inappropriate jokes.   

Relatives and Friends are invited to his Visitation on Friday, March 24^th from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at St. Laurence Church, 8245 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby, PA 19082, followed by his Funeral Mass at 11:30 AM. Interment will immediately follow the service at SS Peter & Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.
