Lydia A. DiPietro, age 79, of Havertown, PA, passed away on April 19, 2020. Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Josephine A. DiPietro (nee Aloisi).
Lydia was a graduate of Merion Mercy Academy and the University of Pennsylvania, where she received a degree in Finance. She had been employed as a Program Analyst for the Federal Government. She retired in 1988.
Lydia was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Church in Manoa, PA. She was a member of the Legion of Mary, the Sodality of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the Liturgy Committee, the Hospitality Committee, the H.O.P.E. program and was also a lector. She was also a member of the Sacred Heart Social Club, the Annunciation BVM Social Club and the St. Pius X Over 50 Club.
Lydia was a member of the International Federation of Professional Engineers, a member of the 25 Year Club of the Internal Revenue Service, and a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Catholic War Veterans.
Lydia was predeceased by her cousin AnnaMarie Ridolfi (Joseph). She is survived by her cousins Noma Bellino (Paul) and Lorraine LaMagna (Joseph), nieces, nephews, and friends.
Due to the Covid 19 pandemic, services and interment will be private.
