Lydia Keegan Mahjoubian, age 73, of West Chester, PA, passed away on March 31, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Philadelphia, PA in 1951, she was the daughter of the late James Henry and Marion (nee Spangenberg) Keegan. Lydia was a 1969 graduate of Lower Merion High School. She received her Bachelor's degree from Lebanon Valley College and post secondary education at Immaculata University. A longtime employee of the West Chester Area School District, Lydia was computer savvy and worked as a Technology Specialist. She took great pride in taking care of her children and grandchildren. In her final years, she became passionate about genealogy, tracing her roots back to Ireland and Germany. She traveled to both countries and saw the towns and villages her family had come from. Lydia accomplished everything she set out to do and had no regrets in life.
Lydia was the beloved wife of Charles Mahjoubian, with whom she shared 46 years of marriage; loving mother of Jim Mahjoubian, Rob Mahjoubian, and Lisa Shadrick (Eric); caring grandmother of Sophia, Henry, William, Jameson, and Hudson.
Relatives and friends are invited to an open house at 2 PM Saturday, June 7, 2025 at the Mahjoubian Residence, 1195 Carrie Lane, West Chester, PA 19382 to celebrate Lydia's life.
