Lyman Peter Hatton

Lyman P. Hatton, of West Chester, passed away on December 6, 2024. 

He is survived by his beloved wife, Kathleen A. (Corrigan). Lyman was a member of the Lower Merion Police Department and retired after over 30 years of service to the community. 

Lyman was the proud father of Mark (Mary), his daughter Beth Mader, and Jeff (Janelle). He was Pop Pop to Emily, Hannah, Daniel, Sarah, Erin, Lindsey, and Caroline. He was lovingly known as “Boo” to Doug, Monique, Breanna, and Connor Corrigan. He is also survived by his sister, Anne Jackson, of Mt. Laurel. 

Relatives and friends are invited to his Mass of Christian Burial, Monday, December 16, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Saints Simon and Jude Church, 8 Cavanaugh Court, West Chester, PA 19382. Interment will be private. 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Meals on Wheels of Chester County in Lyman’s memory, 404 Willowbrook Ln, West Chester, PA 19382.
