Margaret V. Carmen (nee Gray) passed away on September 25, 2014 of Newtown Square, PA. Born in Philadelphia, Margaret attended West Catholic Girls High School and later pursued her career as Office Manager for an Insurance Company.
Margaret was the beloved wife of the late Robert P. Carmen. She was the dear mother of Maureen M. Carmen, Peggy Ann Kirkpatrick, Kathleen P. Carmen (Raymond Cochard), Patricia T. (Donald) Courson, Mariellen C. (Stephen) Harris, Robert P. (Donna) Carmen, Bernadette C. (Leon) Noel, and Brendan J. (Sarah) Carmen and the sister of the late Bum and Jack Gray. Also survived by 21 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren

Relative and friends are invited to her viewing Wednesday evening 7:00-9:00 PM and Thursday 8:30-9:30 AM, The Donohue Funeral Home, 3300 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA and to the Funeral Mass, Thursday 10:00 AM at the church of St. Anastasia, West Chester Pike, Newtown Square. Internment SS Peter and Paul Cemetery.
