Margaret Coleman

Margaret R. Coleman (nee Lewis), age 92, of West Chester, PA, passed away on September 6, 2014. Born in Bryn Mawr, PA, she was the daughter of the late George B. and Rose Lewis (ne McCaughan). Margaret was a 1940 graduate of West Catholic Girls High School in Philadelphia. She worked for the United States Postal Service in Wayne, PA for 25 years, retiring in 2000.



Margaret was predeceased by her husband John F. Coleman, Jr. and her brothers George and Charles Lewis. She is survived by her children Peggy Covatta, Judy Sullivan, John F. Coleman, III (Audrey) and Richard Coleman, her sister Dorothy Ponzo (George), her grandchildren Thomas and Daniel Covatta, Sean Sullivan, John IV and Joshua Coleman and 8 great-grandchildren.



Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing Thursday, 10:00-11:00 AM SS Peter and Paul Church, 1325 Boot Road, West Chester, PA and to her Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM. Interment St. Agnes Cemetery.
