Margaret Cozzi

Margaret M. “Peg” Cozzi (nee Meehan), age 80, of Drexel Hill, PA, passed away on February 13, 2022.  Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Patrick John and Eleanor Meehan (nee Burgoyne).

Peg was a graduate of West Catholic Girls High School in Philadelphia.  She attended Villanova University and Gwynedd Mercy College.

Peg taught at various schools in the Philadelphia area.   She also worked at Wyeth Laboratories and in Real Estate with her father.   She enjoyed the Jersey shore, dining out, traveling, and hosting family parties at her home with her children and grandchildren.   She was an active member of St. Bernadette Church.

Peg was predeceased by her beloved husband, Joseph Cozzi, her brother, James Meehan and her sister, Elizabeth Mulhern.   She is survived by her loving children Margie Cozzi, Anthony Cozzi (Colleen), Patrick Cozzi and her stepson, Daniel Cozzi (Jeanmarie).   She was the dear grandmother of Audrey, Cecilia, Joseph and Caroline.  Also survived by her sister, Sr. Rita Ann Meehan, R.S.M., her sister-in-law Monica Meehan, her brother-in-law Robert Mulhern and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit the family Friday, February 18, 2022 9:30-11:00 AM at St. Bernadette Church, 1035 Turner Avenue, Drexel Hill, PA and to her Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM.   Interment SS Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.
