Margaret Donaghy

Margaret L. Donaghy, age 69, of Media, Middletown Township, PA , formerly of the Overbrook section of Philadelphia passed away on April 29, 2016 at Riddle Memorial Hospital.
Margaret was the daughter of the late Harry C. and Elsie J. Donaghy (nee Pine). Sister of the late Franklyn F. Donaghy and is survived by her sisters Harriet V. Young (the late Jack) and Jane M. Howard (Michael J.) and her brother Michael D. Donaghy and many nieces and nephews as well as great- nieces and nephews.
Margaret was a long time resident of Elwyn in Media where she worked in the workshop. She loved making birthday cards to give to her Elwyn family and never missed someone's birthday. Her many hobbies included playing 500 Rummy, bingo, Sorry and Parchessi, listening to music, dancing and spending time with family. Her motto was "You are never too old to have fun".
Family and friends are invited to her viewing, Saturday, May 7, 2016 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at The Donohue Funeral Home, 8401 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby, PA 19082 (610) 449-0300 followed by her Funeral Service at 10:30 AM. Interment will be at Arlington Cemetery in Drexel Hill, PA.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Margaret's memory to Elwyn Institute, 111 Elwyn Road, Media, PA 19063 would be appreciated.
