Margaret Henninger

Margaret Mary Henninger (nee Pizzie) died on Monday August 31st at age 89. Known as Marge or Margie, she was born on March 12, 1931 in Philadelphia, Pa to Mary and William Pizzie. She grew up in South Philadelphia with six sisters and one brother, where she also attended vocational school. In 1989, she married the love of her life, Earl Henninger. Her loved ones knew her as a force of nature who loved to dance, cook and go to the casino. Frank Sinatra was her favorite singer and she made a legendary Caesar salad. Her family meant the world to her and she was endlessly proud of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her beloved husband Earl, 7 children Stephanie, Carol, Chris, Kellie, Marie, Lisa and Kim, 20 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Thursday September 3rd from 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM at the Knoetgen-Donohue Funeral Home 746 Kedron Ave. Morton, Pa 19070 Words of Remembrance at 11:30 AM. Interment: Private

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St, Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
