Margaret Louise Jones

Margaret Louise Jones (nee Kane) passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 3, 2024 at age 87.  Born and raised in Ontario, Canada, Margaret met her beloved Welsh husband, Myrddin Jones, while sailing back to Canada after a visit with her Irish relatives. Margaret and Myrddin settled in Toronto and loved spending time with her family. Margaret was a devoted mother to David Jones, Alison Troy (Michael) and Neal Jones (Jaclyn).  She was an incredibly proud “Nain” (Welsh for grandmother) to Dafydd, Hero, Grace, Jack, Maggie, Ashley, Teagan, Devyn and Gavin. She is also survived by many beloved nieces and nephews in Canada, Wales, and England.

Margaret was an avid tennis player and loved reading and her wine club! Myr’s job took them around the globe much to her delight!  She has instilled that love for travel in her children and grandchildren.

Family and Friends are invited to visit on Saturday, June 22nd from 11:00 – 12:00 at Donohue Funeral Home in Wayne.   A Celebration of Life service will begin at 12:00.
