Margaret "Marge" M. Reilly

Margaret M. “Marge” Reilly (née Stritch), age 96, of Broomall PA, passed away at her home peacefully surrounded by her family on February 3^rd, 2023.

Born in Philadelphia, she was the caring daughter of the late Stephen J. and Margaret (née Dunlea) Stritch. 

She was the beloved wife of the late Bernard F. Reilly; the loving mother of Margaret M. Felton, Bernard F. Reilly Jr., Maureen A. Clark, Elizabeth “Beth” A. Brune, Stephen J. Reilly, Dennis J. Reilly, Katherine T. Reilly, and James P. Reilly. She was pre deceased by her daughter, Teresa K. Reilly and son, Paul D. Reilly. 

She was the devoted grandmother of 20 and great-grandmother of 15.  She is also survived by her brother, Stephen Stritch and sister, Kathleen Hayes, and predeceased by her siblings, Gertrude Stritch, John Stritch, and Mary Cunningham. 

Marge was a loving wife, mother, daughter, and sister, who spent time volunteering with Hospice. She loved traveling and vacationing with her family in Cape May, NJ and also all over the world.  She also was an avid golfer who achieved a once in a lifetime accomplishment celebrating a hole-in-one while golfing at Paxon Hollow Golf Club. Marge was also employed in a physician’s office as a medical assistant for many years.   

Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation, Saturday, July 22, 2023, 9:00 to 10:00 AM, at St. Pius X Church, 220 Lawrence Road, Broomall, PA  19008, followed by her Funeral Mass, 10:00 AM.  Interment SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.
