Margaret M. Moughan (nee Fynes), age 94, of Havertown, PA , and formerly of South Philadelphia, PA ,passed away on October 27, 2016.
Beloved wife of the late Michael E. Moughan. Loving mother of Peggy (Larry) McDermott, Michael (Cris Cavalieri), John (Regina), Kate, James (Janice), Dr. Beth (Dr. Mary Moran), and the late Mary Moughan. Devoted grandmother of 13, great-grandmother of 23. Preceded in death by her brothers William, Jack, and James Fynes, and sister Marie Pierce.
Margaret was born in Philadelphia to William and Mary Alice (nee O'Brien) Fynes. She attended St. Gabriels' Grade School and St. Monica's' Commercial High School. She was an avid reader and loved poetry. Margaret also enjoyed traveling with her husband. She was an active member of St. Dorothys' Parish in Drexel Hill, especially fond of her time with their Seniors group.
Relatives and friends are invited to Margaret's viewing on Thursday, November 3, 2016 from 9 AM to 10:15 AM in St. Dororthys' Church, 4910 Township Line Rd, Drexel Hill, PA 19026. Funeral Mass to follow at 10:30 AM. Interment Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers a donation in Margaret's name may be made to St. Dorothys' at the address above.
