Margaret Ortlieb-Farren

Margaret Ortlieb-Farren, age 92, of Hershey's Mill, formerly of Drexel Hill, passed away on March 2, 2014. Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late William F. and Olive Ortlieb (nee Nestor).
Margaret played on the 1941 Rosemont College undefeated basketball team.
Margaret is survived by her children Olivia P. Erickson (Eric) of Hershey's Mill and Vincent T. Farren (Diana) of Bryn Mawr, PA, her grandchildren Kristin Herrmann (George), Thomas Erickson (Caroline), Olivia Parlavecchio (Joseph), Kathryn Domenick (Anthony), Staci Walters (Brian), Alicia Lanahan (Paul), 15 great-grandchildren, 1 niece and 4 nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing Thursday, March 6, 2014 9:45 AM-10:25 AM St. Patrick Church, 104 Channing Avenue, Malvern followed by her Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory to the Sisters of the Holy Child, 1341 Montgomery Avenue, Rosemont, PA 19010 or Hospice and Palliative Care of Jefferson Hospice, 240 Radnor Chester Road, Suite 100, Radnor, PA 19087 would be appreciated.
