Margaret "Peggy" Jane Packard, age 93, of Downingtown, PA, passed away on January 22, 2014, at her daughter's residence in Exton, PA, surrounded by family. Born in Chicago, IL, she was the daughter of the late John V. and Helen Bachmann (nee Bogue).
Margaret was a graduate of Marywood Academy in Evanston, IL and received her Bachelor of Arts Degree from Barat College of the Sacred Heart in Lake Forest, IL. She was a licensed realtor in IL, NY and PA, and had been actively involved in various alumni, church and community organizations. Margaret's greatest passion in life was her large family and many friends.
Margaret was predeceased by her husband Ralph K. Packard, Sr. She is survived by her children Ralph K. Packard, Jr. (Jessica) of St. Davids, PA, Mary Helen Packard of Exton, PA, Margaret "Peggy Anne" Baraldi, (Lawrence "Skip") of Malvern, PA and John C. Packard (Rae) of Upper Brookville, NY. She is also survived by her grandchildren Jennifer "Azul" Packard, Michael Packard (Elizabeth), Katherine Packard, Theresa Packard Baker (Joshua), Philip Baraldi (Margaret Triandafyllis), Candace Baraldi, Coburn Packard (Carrie) and Corinne Packard Beasley (Britt) and her great-grandchildren Gabriel, Kempton, Therese, Stella, Hannah, Melina, Audrey, Reid and Anderson.
Relatives and friends are invited to her Funeral Mass on Tuesday, January 28, 2014, 10:00 AM at St. Thomas of Villanova Church (Rosemont Chapel), 1229 W. Lancaster Avenue, Rosemont, PA 19010 where friends may call in Church after 9:00 AM. Interment at Calvary Cemetery.
