Margaret "Peggy" Shay

Margaret “Peggy” (nee Bobst) Shay, 91, passed away surrounded by her loving family, February 29, 2024. Beloved daughter of the late Solon Jacob and Helen Marie (nee Green) Bobst.

Peggy was survived by her loving children, Raymond (Mary Ann), Ann (Joe) Lucci, Lawrence (Joyce), Timothy (Vicki), Michael (Lynn); 12 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.  Peggy was predeceased by her devoted husband, F. Raymond Shay.

Peggy was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.  There was nothing more she loved than being with her family.  She touched the hearts of anyone who was blessed to meet or know her. She will be dearly missed.

Relatives and friends are invited to Peggy’s visitation Tuesday, March 5 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at St. Dorothy’s Church, 4910 Township Line Rd, Drexel Hill, PA followed by her funeral mass at 10:00 AM.  Inurnment at SS Peter and Paul’s Cemetery, 1600 Sproul Road, Springfield, Pa.
