Margaret Saurman

Margaret "Peggy" Muldoon, age 92 of Haverford, PA peacefully on March 29, 2014. Beloved wife of the Late William Jordan Saurman; Dear mother of H. Lynne Oakes (Joe) of Summit, NJ, William J. Saurman Jr. of Springfield, PA, Gail S. Diamond of Bryn Mawr, PA. ( Predeceased by her husband Ed 2005), Janice S. Dunhour (Fred) of Haddonfield, NJ. Also survived by 6 grandchildren, Kelly Oakes Quinn (Sean), Joseph J. Oakes IV (Allison), Kristin Oakes O'Brien (Pat), William Saurman Oakes (Cate), Erica D. Harrison (Jeff), and Davis F. Dunhour and 15 great-grandchildren. She was pre-deceased by 4 brothers and 6 sisters. She and husband Bill were proud supporters of the Cardinal Krol Center for 50 years. She was also a Board member of the St. Francis Country House. Always a fashionista, she owned the women's clothing store, Apropos in Avalon, NJ. where her flare for fashion bloomed. Peggy had many fond memories of Avalon with friends and family and enjoyed her many years in the sun in Palm Beach, FL. She was an active Parishioner of Maris Stella Church. She will be truly missed by all. Mass of Christian Burial and Celebration of her life will be held Wednesday at 11:00 AM at the chapel at The Cardinal Krol Center 1799 S. Sproul Rd. Springfield, PA 19064 where friends may call after 10:00 AM. Int. SS. Peter and Paul Cem.
