Marguerite Amentt

Marguerite Anne “Meg” Amentt (nee Ward), 65, of Havertown, passed away on Saturday, August 29, 2020.

She was born on November 21, 1954, in Philadelphia, the daughter of Charles R. and Marguerite (nee Mongan) Ward.  They preceded her in death.

Meg is survived and will be missed greatly by her loving children, Brian (Kelli) Amentt, Paul Amentt, and Matthew Amentt, and husband Anthony Charles Amentt, Jr; her dear siblings, Charles (Andrea) Ward, Jr., Susan Ward, James (Claire) Ward, and Nancy Ward.  Meg was adored by her loving nieces and nephews, Charles Ward III, Meridith Ward, Katherine Ward, Elizabeth Ward, Patrick Ward, Kelsey Amentt and Jennifer Amentt and a host of friends who will also deeply miss her.

Meg’s great loves in life included her family and friends, especially her three boys. She graduated from St. Bernadette’s School in 1968; Archbishop Prendergast Catholic High School in 1972; West Chester University in 1976; and completed her Master’s degree at St. Joseph’s University in 1985.

Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate Meg’s life on Thursday September 3, 2020.  Visitation will begin at 9:30 AM at Sacred Heart Church, 110 N. Manoa Road, Havertown, followed by her Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM. Interment is private.

Masks are to be worn visiting the family and to the Funeral Mass and Social Distancing is to be observed.
