Marguerite S. "Peg" (nee Susanin) Kelley, 93, of Newtown Square, PA, formerly of Tenafly, NJ, passed away on March 5, 2019.
Born in Palmerton, PA in 1925, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Anna (nee Babinchak) Susanin. She graduated from Penn State University and earned her Master's degree from Columbia University. Peg was an avid traveler and she visited over 80 countries. She was a wonderful matriarch of 100 members.
Peg was the beloved wife of the late William M. Kelley; loving mother of Susan J. Kelley and Richard W. Kelley (Kathleen); adoring grandmother of Anne, Kathryn, Lauren, Douglas, Reeder, and Andrew and great-grandmother of William; dear sister of John Susanin (Natalie) and Roger Susanin (Helene).
Marguerite was the oldest child of eight from a family with one sister and six brothers.
She is survived by two brothers, John Susanin and his wife Natalie, and Roger Susanin and his wife Helene, two sisters-in-law- Catherine Susanin(Andre) and Judith Susanin(Ernest). She is predeceased by her sister Elaine Looby and husband Lawrence, brother Edward Susanin and wife Janice, brother Andre Susanin, brother Francis Susanin and wife Barbara and brother Ernest Susanin.
Services and interment are private.
