Marguerite M. "Peggy" Ward (nee Mongan), age 88, of Downingtown, PA, formerly of Drexel Hill, PA and Hershey's Mill passed away on April 12, 2016.
Born in Philadelphia to the late Marguerite G. (nee Kelleher) and James J. Mongan, Peggy was a graduate of West Catholic High School for Girls.
Peggy is survived by her beloved husband Charles R. Ward, Sr., her loving children Charles R. Ward (Andrea), Marguerite A. Amentt (Bud), Susan M. Ward, James J. Ward (Claire) and Nancy A. Ward, her siblings Marion Powers (the late George) and Eleanor McStravog (the late Michael). She is also survived by her 8 grandchildren, her nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to Visitation, Monday, April 18, 2016 from 10:00 AM to 10:50 AM at St. Joseph Church, 338 Manor Avenue, Downingtown, PA, followed by her Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM. Interment, SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Peggy's memory to the Alzheimer's Association, 399 Market Street, Suite 102, Philadelphia, PA 19106 would be appreciated.
