Maria Teresa Buendia (nee Sales), age 62, of Devon, PA, formerly of Sydney, Australia, passed away on August 23, 2016. Born in Quezon City, Philippines, she was the daughter of the late Efrem and Patrocinio Bernales Sales (nee Santos).
Maria was a person full of energy and very bubbly. She loved to sing and was a lead singer in a choir in Australia. She loved to cook, which everyone loved, and her desserts were the best. She was a friend to all.
Maria is survived by her beloved husband, Florencio Buendia, her children Francis, Antonio, and Nicole, her grandchild Ricardo, and her siblings Renepo Sales, Carolina Albulario, Leah Sales, Efrem Sales, Jr., Janet Jacob and Jocelyn Sales.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit the family Thursday, August 25, 2016 4:00 PM-6:00 PM The Donohue Funeral Home, 366 W. Lancaster Avenue, Wayne, PA (610) 989-9600 and to her Funeral Service at 6:00 PM. Interment will be private.
