Marian "Sue" Kendall

Marian “Sue” Kendall (nee Harris) PhD, age 73, of Ardmore, PA passed away on August 17, 2024. Born in Portsmouth, Virginia on July 19, 1951 to the late John and Ruth (nee Perkinson) Harris, she earned her PhD in Art History from the University of Minnesota before running a publishing company.

Sue was a supportive and loving woman, widely beloved for being both an independent thinker with quick wit and great sense of humor as well as a generous, loyal, community-minded friend and confidant. She enjoyed cooking, reading, bargain hunting, keeping up with politics and socializing with family and friends.

Sue is survived by her beloved husband Philip C. Kendall PhD, adoring children Mark Kendall and Reed (Vanessa Winters) Kendall, grandchild Quinn Rose Kendall, sister Nancy (nee Harris) Sumrell (Dal), and nephew David Sumrell (Lisa).

Family and friends are invited to honor and celebrate Sue’s memory at her Visitation on Sunday, August 25, 2024 from 2:00pm - 3:30pm at the Donohue Funeral Home, 366 West Lancaster Avenue, Wayne, PA 19087.
