Marian M. McCann

Marian M. McCann (nee Morrison), 94, of Drexel Hill, PA, passed away on March 3, 2022.

Marian was the beloved wife of William J. McCann Sr. (deceased); devoted mother of Dr. William J. McCann Jr. (Karla); Carol Findley (Don); Linda Ford (Vince) and David McCann (Kara); sister to Frank Morrison: grandmother of 18 grandchildren and great grandmother of 14 great grandchildren.

Marian was born and raised in Wissahickon.  She graduated from Roxborough High School in 1945.  After high school, Marian was secretary to the adjutant at the Defense Industrial Supply Center in Philadelphia.  That is where she met “Bill” McCann and they were married in 1957.  They moved to Springfield, PA in 1961 and raised their family.

Marian loved to travel. She took several cross-country trips with her parents and brother.  Lake George, NY and Ocean City, NJ were very special to her as well.  Most importantly, Marian loved spending time with her family.  She was so proud of her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation 9:00-10:30 AM Friday March 11, 2022, followed by a Service at 10:30 AM at The Donohue Funeral Home, 8401 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby, PA 19082. Interment at Ss. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield.
