Marian S. Shoemaker (nee Stauffer), age 83, of Westtown, passed away on January 17, 2015.
Marian was a 1949 graduate of Ridley High. She enjoyed attending to her flower garden and traveling to national parks. She also loved birdwatching. Marian attended church services at Gradyville United Methodist Church every Sunday.
Marian was the daughter of the late John and Caroline Stauffer (nee Crenan). She is survived by her husband Richard S. Shoemaker; her children, Richard M. Shoemaker (Diane,) Michelle Diane Berquist (Michael), Kathleen Renee Brooks (Gene); grandchildren Michael, Christopher, Danielle, Deanna and Katlyn and her great-grandchildren Jaida, Andrew, Ryan and Noelle; and her siblings Caroline Harlan, Eleanor Colberg, William Stauffer. Marian was predeceased by her brother, John Stauffer.
Relatives and friends are invited to her Viewing Wednesday January 21, from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at The Donohue Funeral Home, 1627 West Chester Pike, West Chester, PA (610) 431-9000 follwed by her Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be at Edgewood Memorial Park, Glen Mills, PA.
