Mariann C. MacNeal

Mariann C. MacNeal, age 74, of Media, PA, passed away unexpectedly on July 15, 2023. 

Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Merle and Carmella (née Colella) James.

Mariann loved to watch videos on TikTok and she loved her mystery documentaries along with history podcasts. She also loved arts and crafts especially making wreaths for her daughters and she loved to color. She loved spending time in Rehoboth Beach, De. She loved reading all of her Italian cook books, watching her cooking shows and making fresh pasta. She also loved her Italian heritage and told many a story of the “old days” with her family, especially her cousins.

Mariann was a feisty yet funny, caring, loving, and generous person.  Her most precious time was time spent with her family but especially with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Mariann was the beloved wife of David H. MacNeal; the loving mother of Christina “Tina” Martucci, Andrea Harkness (Craig), Lisa Martucci, and the late Ronald Martucci and stepson, David MacNeal.  She was the devoted grandmother of 13 and great-grandmother of 13.  Mariann is predeceased by her siblings, Gerald James, Cindy Tracy, and David James.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Viewing, Thursday evening, July 20, 2023, 7:00 – 9:00 PM and again on Friday morning, July 21, 2023, 10:30 – 11:30 AM at The Donohue Funeral Home, 3300 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA  19073, followed by her Funeral Service at 11:30 AM.  Interment private.
