Marie J. D'Antonio

Marie J. D'Antonio, age 91, of Wallingford PA, passed away on April 12, 2024. She was born Marie J. Pole on January 3, 1933, to her loving parents, Joseph Pole and Angelina Pole (neeZangare).

Marie was a loving mother and doting grandmother. Marie leaves behind her cherished children, Samuel D'Antonio (Iryna) and Patricia Wolf (Stephen), as well as her adored grandchildren, Angela Wolf Quaintance (Robert) and Danielle Julia Wolf. 

Throughout her life, Marie made significant contributions in her work as a Phlebotomist at Delaware County Hospital and also as a Teacher’s Assistant at Delaware County Intermediate Unit. Her dedication to helping others extended beyond her professional career, as she was a member of the Saint John Chrysostom Catholic Church.

Marie enjoyed gardening, arts and crafts, and was an avid reader. She was also a lover of animals, especially her dog Penny. Marie was an independent woman who was caring, funny, and intelligent. She took great pride in her style and attitude.

Marie liked to take trips to the Jersey Shore. As a child, she would spend part of her summers at her aunt and uncle’s place in Wildwood and had many fond memories of those times. Later in life, she enjoyed taking her granddaughters to the shore. Marie also loved spending time with them at Linvilla Orchards, looking at animals and plants. Family was very important to her, and she loved cooking her special Italian gravy with all the fixings for big holiday dinners.

She was truly an amazing woman and will be missed by all who knew her.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation Tuesday April 23rd, 2024, from 5:30PM to 7:00PM followed by 7:00PM Service at The Knoetgen-Donohue Funeral Home, 746 Kedron Avenue, Morton, PA 19070.
