Marie Dengler

Marie T. Dengler (nee Maguire), 72, of Newtown Square, passed away on April 10, 2017.
She was the beloved wife of James J. Dengler; loving mother of James Dengler (Karla ), Darlene Laird (Butch), Mark Dengler (Tracey), and Kevin Dengler (Danielle); dear sister of the late William Maguire, Sr. (Fran) and Peg Gallagher (the late Dan); also survived by 11 grandchildren.
Marie loved spending time with her loving husband of 47 years, her 4 children and her 11 grandchildren. She also loved traveling, trips to Cape May with her family, and friends were the most cherished. Marie was an incredible and humble person who put others before herself. She also enjoyed gardening, volunteering her time and talents for Catholic religious activities such as: the Little Sisters of the Poor, Association of Jeanne Jugan (AJJ), In His Sign network, and Franciscan Friars of the Renewal. Marie was creative, industrious, practical, hard working and caring. Nana made certain that each of her grandchildren felt loved and cherished.
Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation Monday April 17, 6:30-8:30 PM and Tuesday 8:30-10:00 AM at The Donohue Funeral Home, 1627 West Chester Pike, West Chester, PA 19382, 610-431-9000 followed by her Funeral Mass 10:30 AM at SS Simon & Jude Church, 8 Cavanaugh Court, West Chester, PA 19382. Interment St. Agnes Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Little Sisters of the Poor, 5300 Chester Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19143 or to Our House Ministries, 1441 S. 29th Street, Philadelphia, PA 19146.
