Marie P. Gingras (nee Moroni), 96, of West Chester, PA, passed away on March 12, 2019.
Born in Philadelphia, PA in 1922, she was the daughter of the late Gaetano and Domenica Moroni. Marie loved working as a Seamstress. She enjoyed oil painting as well as learning new things like teaching herself to play the organ and to speak the French language.
Marie was the beloved wife of Antonio T. Gingras; loving mother of Annette Barone (Luke), Diane G. Colburn (the late Walter E., Jr.), and Paul Gingras (Marcella); adoring grandmother of John Barone, Ann Marie Trethewey, Sharon Williams, Christopher Barone, Matthew Colburn, Jessica Starn, and Alexandra Gingras.
Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation from 9 AM to 10 AM Saturday, March 16, 2019 at Daylesford Abbey, 220 S. Valley Road, Paoli, PA 19301, followed by her Funeral Service at 10 AM. Interment SS Peter & Paul Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society, 1626 Locust Street, Philadelphia, PA 19103, would be appreciated.
