Marie Kelly

Marie Kelly (née Lee), 86, of Broomall, PA and formerly of Briarcliffe section of Glenolden, PA passed away on December 7, 2021.

Born in 1935 in Philadelphia, Marie was the daughter of the late John and Mary (née Cantwell) Lee.

Marie was the beloved wife of the late Joseph J. Kelly; loving mother of Patrick (Ann), Michael (Chris), Peggy Visniskie (John), Brian (Loretta), Colleen Foreacre (Tom) and the late Joseph (Joan); grandmother of 16 grandchildren; great-grandmother of 7 and 2 additional on the way; dear sister of John Lee. She was predeceased by siblings; Dottie McNeila, Catherine Murphy and Rev. Michael Lee, O. Praem.

Marie was a devoted wife and mother. She was a longtime member of Our Lady of Fatima Parish.

Marie was a 1953 graduate of West Catholic High School. She enjoyed spending time with her family. Summers on Cape May Beach with her children were some of her happiest times. ReRe’s favorite pastime was trips to the casinos.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Viewing 6:00-8:00 PM Friday, December 10, 2021 at The Donohue Funeral Home, 3300 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA 19073, 610-353-6300 and 9:00-9:50 AM Saturday at St. Anastasia Church, 3301 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA 19073 followed by her Funeral Mass 10:00 AM. Interment Private.
