In Loving Memory of Marie Leda Remy
March 22, 1931 – October 22, 2023

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Marie Leda Remy, who peacefully departed from this world on October 22, 2023. She was a devoted mother to seven children including three sons Jean Robert Taylor, Jean Emile Taylor and Jean Crepsain Taylor and four daughters Marie Yvrose Taylor, Marie Sarode Taylor, Marie Kettelie Taylor and Marie Nicole Taylor. She was also a cherished grandmother to fourteen grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Marie Leda was born on March 22, 1931, and throughout her remarkable life, she exemplified the true essence of family and love. Her boundless love and nurturing spirit shaped the lives of her children, inspiring them to be compassionate, kind, and resilient individuals. As a grandmother and great-grandmother, she reveled in the laughter and joy of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, creating enduring memories that will be treasured for generations to come. Beyond her role as a dedicated mother and grandmother, Marie Leda had an amazing impact on her community in Haiti. Her positive influence and warm-hearted nature left an indelible mark on everyone she met, enriching the lives of countless others.

Marie Leda's legacy of love and kindness will forever reside in the hearts of her family and friends. While we mourn her physical absence, her spirit will continue to guide us, reminding us of the importance of family, love, and the enduring power of a compassionate soul.

A celebration of Marie Leda Remy's life will be held on Saturday, November 4th 2023 starting at 9am at The Donohue Funeral Home, 8401 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby, PA. Followed by a service at 11am.  Interment at Montrose Cemetery, 504 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby, PA.  Services will be livestreamed by the family on Zoom: Meeting ID: 717 881 1105, Zoom PLN: joinfritz
