Marie F. Smith (nee Finnerty), age 94, of Berwyn, PA, formerly of West Chester, PA passed away on February 11, 2017. Born in Taylor, PA she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Agatha Finnerty (nee Keifer).
Marie was employed as a Real Estate Agent with Berkshire Hathaway. She enjoyed walking and visiting the beach in Longport, NJ.
Marie was the beloved wife of the late James S. Smith and mom to Irene M. Roman, Joann Koenig, James S. Smith Jr., Kathryn Filtingberger, Donald T. Smith, Steven M. Smith, and Mark B. Smith. She is also survived by her 14 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Marie was sister of Joe Finnerty Jr., Berneta Finnerty, and James Finnerty.
Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation on Saturday, February 18, 2017, 10:00-11:00 AM at The Donohue Funeral Home, 366 West Lancaster Avenue, Wayne, PA (610) 989-9600 and to her Funeral Service at 11:00 AM. Interment is private.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory to AseraCare Hospice Service, 411 Eagleview Blvd #114, Exton, PA 19341 would be appreciated.
