Marie Phyllis Tresca

Revised Obituary with new location.

Marie Phyllis Tresca (née Kramer), age 89, resident of Bryn Mawr Village, formerly of Newtown Square, passed away peacefully on December 26, 2022.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Betty (née Heckler) Kramer.

Marie was an avid baker, crafter and quilter.  Before her retirement, she was employed as a school bus aide with the Marple-Newtown School District.

Marie was the beloved wife of the late Frank D. Tresca; loving mother of Frances Podlesney (Steve), Kathleen Schneider, and Robin Carroll (the late Matthew).  She was the devoted grandmother of Kimberly Balatgek,  Megan Brosious, Robin Ambroziak, Monica Baker, and Ian Baker, and great-grandmother of Brianna Milander, Amanda Brosious, and Lauren Brosious.  She is also survived by her many nephews and nieces.  Marie was predeceased by her siblings, Frederick J. Kramer, Jr., Joan Kramer, Eugene Kramer, Nancy Green, and Bruce Kramer.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation, Tuesday, January 3, 2022, 10:00 to 11:00 AM at The Donohue Funeral Home, 8401 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA  19073, 610-449-0300, followed by her Funeral Service, 11:00 AM.  Interment private.
