Marilyn J. Rosenthal (nee Hess), 83, of West Chester, PA, passed away November 15, 2019.
Born February 20, 1936 in Lexington, VA, she was a daughter of the late Edwin and Marguerite (nee Harvey) Hess.
Marilyn was an avid golfer and Pennsylvania State Champion. She loved to paint, knit, sew, and needlepoint, as well as compose music as an accomplished pianist.
She was the beloved wife of 61 years of James W. Rosenthal; loving mother of Linda S. Rosenthal, Richard J. Rosenthal (Sharon), and Barbara J. Santilli; adoring grandmother of Ryan Tjarks, Jade Rosenthal, Stephen Rosenthal, Sarah Rosenthal, Ava Santilli, Gianna Santilli, and John Santilli, Jr.; and dear sister of Jack Hess (Helena). She was predeceased by her brothers: Harold Hess and Edward Hess. She will be dearly missed by her dog, Maggie.
Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation: Friday, November 22, 2019 from 9:00 AM - 10:30 AM at Christ Community Church, 1190 Phoenixville Pike, West Chester, PA 19380, followed by her Memorial Service from 10:30-11:30 AM. Internment Birmingham Lafayette Cemetery.
