Marilyn M. (nee Miller) Thomas, age 74, of Radnor, PA, passed away on November 12, 2020.
Born in Baltimore, MD in 1946, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Dolly (nee Fringer) Miller. Marilyn grew up in Roland Park in Baltimore. In 1964, she graduated from Friends School on Charles Street.
After graduating, Marilyn worked for WBAL TV in Baltimore. She then moved to Atlanta, GA and worked as a Production Associate Producer for children’s shows with WXIA TV for 4 years. After moving to Philadelphia, PA, Marilyn worked for WHYY in the Public Information Department for 15 years. She continued on to Action News, WPVI TV where she worked as an office manager for 11 years before retiring.
While working at Action News, Marilyn met her husband, Harry M. Thomas, III and they were married in 2000. After her retirement, Marilyn and her husband enjoyed traveling and going on cruises together. She was a member of the Walnut Street Theatre and often visited New York to see Broadway shows. Marilyn loved life and lived it to the fullest with her husband by her side.
In addition to her husband, Marilyn is survived by her nieces, Alison Murray, Jennifer Grey, and Elizabeth Wells. She was predeceased by her sister, Patty Grey.
