Marion Plantamura

Marion J. Plantamura (nee Jennings), age 98, of Newtown Square, PA, passed away on December 31, 2015. Born in Lawrence, NY, she was the daughter of the late Frank R. Jennings and Elizabeth Wyatt Pettit Jennings. She graduated from Hunter College and was employed as a school teacher in District 14 in New York.



Marion was predeceased by her husband, Michael J. Plantamura and her siblings Virginia Bunning, Lois Kahkonen, Arthur Jennings, Reginald Jennings and Dorothy Charlton. She is survived by her daughters Elisa Barbis (John) and Bobbi Rodgers (Don), her 4 grandchildren Wray Rodgers (Neely), Mike Rodgers, James Barbis (Stacy) and Tim Barbis (Kalee), and 4 great-grandchildren.



Services will be held in the spring at Trinity St. John's Church in Hewlett, N.Y., with burial to follow in the churchyard burial grounds. The family has tentatively set the date as May 26, 2016 at about 10:00 a.m. This was the date of Marion and Mike's wedding anniversary. Please contact the family for further updates.
