Marita Donohue Fisher

Marita Donohue Fisher, age 77, of Havertown, PA, passed away on September 20, 2022.   Born in Darby, PA, Marita was the daughter of the late John G. and Mary Donohue (nee Brennan).

Marita was a graduate of Villa Maria Academy, received her Bachelor’s Degree from Immaculata University and her Master’s Degree from Villanova University. 

Marita was a realtor with Berkshire Hathaway Real Estate and retired 10 years ago.  She was a devoted member of Sacred Heart Church, a member of the Legion of Mary and a Eucharistic Minister.   She had a deep devotion to St. Anthony.

Marita was a wonderful neighbor.  She was a helpful and caring person for everyone, especially her family.   She enjoyed spending time in Ocean City, NJ, dancing, reading and travel.

Marita is survived by her beloved husband, William “Bill” Fisher.  Loving stepmother of Mark Fisher (Lisa), Todd Fisher and the late Julie Fisher-Pisa.  Dear sister of John Donohue (Dottie), Ann White (the late George Amadio), and Cathryn D. Schumacher (the late Ed).  Loving aunt to many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.   Predeceased by her sister-in-law Janet Donohue. 

Relatives and friends are invited to visit the family Tuesday, September 27, 2022 9:30-10:30 AM at Sacred Heart Church, Manoa and Shelbourne Roads, Havertown, PA and to her Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM.   Interment SS Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.
