Marjorie Ann Ferry (nee Barber), 101 years of age, of Bryn Mawr, PA passed away on July 21, 2017. Born in Ardmore, PA, Marjorie was the daughter of the late William George and Kate Barber (nee Guy).
Marjorie worked as a secretary for Haverford Friends School for over 35 years.
She was the beloved wife of the late William George Ferry. Marjorie was the loving mother of Richard William Ferry (the late Maggie Charles Ferry), of Unalakleet, AK; Ann Rosemary Ferry McMillan (Gary), of Placerville CA; and Alan John Ferry, of Lakeland, FL. She is also survived by her eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Marjorie was predeceased by her sister Rosemary Grootenhuis.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit the family Saturday, July 29, 2017 1:30 PM in the Auditorium at Rosemont Presbyterian Village, 404 Cheswick Place, Bryn Mawr, PA 19010, 610-527-6500 and to her Memorial Service at 2:00 PM. Interment St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery, Ardmore, PA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are requested to the Rosemont Presbyterian Friendship Fund at the above address.
