Marjorie Hoffman

December 18, 1937 — December 14, 2016

Marjorie (Margie) Jane Hoffman (nee Parke), 78, beloved wife of 59 years of Raymond, and mother of Laurie Harvey (of Spring City) and Keith Hoffman (of Potomac, MD), completed her life journey December 14 after a long battle with metastasized breast cancer.



Margie is also survived by five loving grandchildren, Victoria and David Harvey, and Mitchell, Jackson and Barrett Hoffman.



A resident of Coldstream Crossing in Kimberton for the past four years, Margie formerly resided in Berwyn for 45 years.



She was born in Pittsburgh, the only child of David and Iva Parke (Whaley). Margie was a founding member of the Devon-Strafford Little League Girls' Softball League and an active member of The Baptist Church in the Great Valley, Devon. She loved to spend time with her children and grandchildren.



A Celebration of Life Memorial Service is being planned for mid-January.



The family requests that condolences be expressed in memorial gifts to either The Baptist Church in the Great Valley, 945 North Valley Forge Road, Devon, PA 19333, Damien Counseling Center 95 Howellville Road, Berwyn, PA 19312, or Baywater Animal Rescue, 4930 Bucktown Road, Cambridge, MD 21613.
