Marjorie W. "Marge" Kopka (nee Wheeler), 72, of Havertown, PA and Hernando, FL passed away on June 9, 2017.
Born in Springfield, MA, she was the daughter of the late Edwin J. and Shirley (nee Jewett) Wheeler.
Marge enjoyed golf, travel, cruising and scrapbooking. She was an avid NBA basketball fan, especially as a season ticket holder starting in 1982 with the Chicago Bulls and then in 1998 with the Philadelphia 76ers. Marge loved spending time with her grandchildren and attending their sport competitions and performances. She enjoyed playing golf, Bridge and Mahjong with her friends in Florida. Marge loved a nice glass of Chardonnay with dinner and beyond. Her favorite holiday was Christmas. She cherished decorating the house with Santas, baking cookies, and making gingerbread houses with her grandchildren.
Marge is survived by her beloved husband James Kopka; her daughters Stephanie (Glenn) Clarke and Melanie (Eric) Dahl; her adored grandchildren Andrew, Victoria, Morgan, Quinby, and Macy; her brothers Robert (Susie) Wheeler and Douglas (Debbie) Wheeler; many nieces and nephews; and her adorable cat, Storm.
Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation Tuesday, June 20, 2017 10:00-11:30 AM at The Donohue Funeral Home, 8401 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby, PA (610) 449-0300 followed by her Funeral Service at 11:30 AM. Interment private.
Relatives and friends are also invited to her Graveside Service on Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Holy Cross Cemetery, Hudson, NH.
