Mark McKinney

Mark A. McKinney, age 31, of Glen Mills, PA, formerly of Brookhaven, PA, passed away on February 27, 2020.

Born in Media, PA to Deborah Jo (nee Bynum) and the late John A. McKinney, Jr., Mark was a gifted craftsman who lovingly built many things for family and friends. He took great pride in all of his work from landscaping to home remodeling and car repairs. If he was not sure about something, he would look it up on YouTube and would say  “You can find anything on YouTube, Mom”. He always wanted his projects to be perfect.

Mark was a sweet, loyal, artistic man who loved his family very much, especially his nieces and nephew. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Mark is survived by his beloved mother, Deborah J. McKinney, brother Thomas W. McKinney (Hollie), nieces Lilly and Riley, nephew John Michael, uncle Terrell W. Bynum (Aline), aunt Karen B. Wright (Joseph), uncles William Sabatino, William Bowersox and David R. McKinney (Denise), fiancé Courtney Layman, good friend Ronald J. Rich, his dog, Winnie and his cat, Jack.  In addition to his father, Mark was  pre-deceased by his brother John A. McKinney, III, grandparents Terrell and Elizabeth Bynum  (nee Warren) and John A. “Art” and Beryl McKinney (nee Shipley), and his aunts Elizabeth L “Bet” Sabatino and Clare W. Bowersox.
