Marlene DiLoreto

DiLoreto, Marlene Monica (Schwab), age 76, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 3, 2020, with her family by her side.

Born on August 8, 1944, in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Mary Schwab (Casalena).

Marlene was a loving wife, mother, sister, and grandmother.

She loved to sew, and her daughters’ intricate Halloween costumes were the talk of the neighborhood every year when they were young. Marlene had such a love of music (mainly Motown) and loved to go out to dance every chance she had. It was a given that at every family gathering, she was teaching one of her grandkids how to jitterbug.

She had a strong love of God, and her faith was a huge part of who she was.  She lived a beautiful life full of family, friends, and faith. She will be truly missed and never forgotten.

Marlene is survived by her four daughters, Melissa (Bob) Ridolfi, Nina (Jim) Bowdler, Marla (John) DiCandilo, and Maria (John) Salgado; and her brother Raymond (Schwab). She was grandmother to her 11 grandchildren, Robert, Adrianna, Evan (Ridolfi), Jonathan, David, Benjamin (Bowdler), Madeline, Allie, Carly (DiCandilo), and Sophia and Ava (Salgado).

Viewing will be held at Saint Dorothy’s Church on Township Line in Drexel Hill, PA. from 9:00 – 10:30 AM, followed by her Funeral Mass 10:30 AM.
