Martha Jean Smoll

Martha “Jean” Smoll (nee Morrison), age 94, of Devon, PA, formerly of Broomall, PA, passed away on October 6, 2019.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, Jean was the daughter of the late Herbert and Anna May (nee Berkey) Morrison.

Jean was an avid reader and sports fan. She was especially interested in the Philadelphia sports teams. She also enjoyed going on cruises. Jean’s last job was with Curtis 1000 where she was employed as a Sales Assistant. Prior to that position, she was manager of Hanscom Bakery in the Lawrence Park Shopping Center.

Jean was the beloved wife of the late Robert F. Smoll, Sr. Loving mother of Robert F. Smoll, Jr. (Christine), Richard B. Smoll (Iris), and Nancy J. Kenney (Lawrence E.). Also survived by 13 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing Thursday, October 10, 2019 from 10:00-11:30 AM at The Donohue Funeral Home, 3300 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA 19073 610-353-6300, followed by her Funeral Service at 11:30 AM. Interment Glenwood Memorial Gardens, Broomall, PA
