Martin Darcy

Martin W. Darcy, age 99, of Broomall, PA, passed away on July 9, 2014. Born in Villanova, PA, he was the son of the late George and Alice Darcy (nee Kerrigan).
Martin served in the U.S. Army during World War II as a Tec 5. He was employed as a salesman with the Gerber Food Company. He also worked part time for many years for The Donohue Funeral Home.
Martin was the dear husband of the late Rita M. Darcy (nee Murphy) and Alice F. Darcy (nee Cronin). He was also predeceased by his son, George J. Darcy and his siblings George J. Darcy, Jr., Julia F. Darcy, Mary A. Darcy, Ellen D. McManus, John R. Darcy and Francis E. Darcy.
He is survived by his daughter Joan M. Darcy, his nieces and nephews and his beloved dog, Ferdinand and cat Gabriel.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit the family Monday, July 14, 2014 10:00-10:30 AM St. Pius X Church, 220 Lawrence Road, Broomall and to his Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM. Interment SS Peter & Paul.
