Mary Ann Welde

Mary Ann Welde, age 67, of Cape Coral, FL, formerly of Havertown, PA, passed away on August 11, 2022. Born in Philadelphia, PA, Mary Ann was the daughter of Adele Welde (nee Loftus) and the late Francis J. Welde. Predeceased by her brother Frankie Welde.

Mary Ann had been employed as an Office Manager at Bryn Mawr Medical Specialists. She cherished her family and went out of her way to help them whenever possible. Mary Ann was a generous and caring friend and was kind to everyone she met. She had such a fun-loving personality and lit up every room she walked in. Mary Ann’s family, friends, and beloved animals, especially her dog Reggie, will miss her dearly. 

In addition to her mother, Mary Ann is survived by her beloved wife, Renee Connolly.  Loving sister of Michael Welde (Marita), Daniel Welde (Amy), Patrick Welde (Judy), James Welde (Meg), and Fran Donohue (Mike).   Dear Aunt of Emily (Jared), Becky (Byron), Mickey (Julie), Frank, Emily, Ashley, Brian, Sean, Patrick (Danielle), Erin, James, Annie, John, Michael, Chrissy, Caity, Megan, Kelly, Matt, and Colin. Great Aunt of 5 great-nieces and nephews.  Also survived by her brother-in-law and sister-in-law Bernie and Bernadette Connolly and many loving cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Viewing Wednesday, August 17, 2022 5:00-8:00 PM at The Donohue Funeral Home, 8401 West Chester Pike (cor. Lynn Blvd.), Upper Darby, PA (610) 449-0300 and to her Funeral Mass Thursday, August 18, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Annunciation BVM Church, 401 Brookline Blvd., Havertown, PA.  Interment SS Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.
